Master Bathroom

Photo taken when I first started decorating. More photos soon.

When we designed our house, we created a large master bathroom / en suite. It has an over-sized walk-in shower, a large whirlpool tub elevated up three steps and nestled under two walls of windows overlooking our woods and property. There is a large vanity with double sinks and lots of storage. There is also a large storage cabinet with a special side-door allowing easy access to toilet paper from the toilet.

We wanted to keep all the basic elements of that room neutral so that it could be decorated in a wide variety of ways over the years. The vanity is a white marble with very faint veining – it’s beautiful! The floor tile, step tile, and shower tile is a neutral limestone that is an off-white color. The cabinetry is an unfinished maple with very little wood grain. And there are lots of large windows on two walls, letting in lots of light.

Over the past several months, I’ve been redecorating that space to give it a boho inspired look with lots of house plants. It feels like a special retreat at the end of the day and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s coming along. I still have wallpaper I need to hang on one of the walls and am hoping to get that done yet this Winter.

Here are some of the things I’ve added to that space. Just click the images below for more information, or if you’re interested in seeing where I purchased these items from.

I only write about things I have or love – and I’m sharing them with you because maybe you’ll love them, too. The links in this post may contain affiliate links. I’ll receive a small commission (at no expense to you) if you make a purchase after clicking on my link.
