I’ve found myself thinking about “The Things We Never Say” by Elizabeth Strout on and off for the past couple of days since finishing this book, trying to decide whether I liked it or disliked it. I just finished reading “The Astral Library” by Kate Quinn, and I have to admit – I’m feeling a bit conflicted about it.

With all the hype surrounding this book, I fully expected to love it – even though fantasy isn’t typically my genre of choice. I wouldn’t say the book was bad by any means. In fact, I can understand why many readers enjoy it. For me, though, it was simply… okay.
