14 Pink Indoor House Plants for Valentine’s Day Gifts

While a bouquet of roses might be the most common gift for Valentine’s Day, and they are beautiful – they just don’t last very long.

Instead of giving roses as a gift, give one of these special heart-felt plants instead!

These plants will live for years and years, and will be a constant reminder of your love (and of you)!

Here are some of my favorite pink succulents and house plants. All plants were available at the time of this article. If you see a plant you like, grab it before it’s gone!

Anacampseros telephiastrum ‘Variegata’

This pretty pink succulent is sure to make your loved one’s heart beat faster.

The Anacampseros telephiastrum ‘Variegata’ has intense pink leaves that fade to a lime green color at the top of the plant, making it even more interesting.

This is an easy-to-grow plant, requiring little water and bright sunlight. The more sunlight this plant receives, the brighter pink it will be.

Pachyphytum oviferum ‘Pink Moonstones’

This is a small succulent with trailing stems. It looks right at home in a hanging basket or flowing over a planter. With the right care, this plant produces tiny white flowers in the center of the leaf clusters. Grows best is partial to full sun and only needs watering occasionally.

Kalanchoe ‘Pink Butterflies’

The Kalanchoe ‘Pink Butterflies’ is an amazing, rare succulent. This plant is also known as “Pink Mother of Thousands”.

The plant has spotted green leaves that have a pink tint. The plant produces hundreds of tiny pink plantlets along the edge of the leaves that resemble butterflies resting. This plant can grow to around 12-inches tall and looks amazing when it is in bloom.  This plant grows best in partial sun. Let the soil surface dry out between waterings.

The leaves can get as long as 1-foot. The plant grows best in medium to bright light and just needs to be watered once  a week or every other week depending on your conditions.
