3 Things I Spotted This Week – #56

A patio set that’s perfect, a climbing hill sculpture with lots of meanings, and a soap bubbler and brush (that I might be too excited about). Check out this week’s fun finds!

#1 – Patio Set

It’s that time of year when I start getting excited about Spring and being able to sit out on the front courtyard patio again. As you can see from the photos in that link, I have a black and white color scheme for the patio. The chairs and table we have are a neutral color that match the stucco on our house. While I really love the look of the patio, I’ve been wanting to find chairs and a couch to use out there instead of the sling chairs we have now. I’ve been looking for a cushioned set for a couple of years now, but haven’t been able to find anything with the look I’m after. Until… I spotted this black and white patio set . I just know it is the set I want to use out there! It’s affordable and I think it looks very nice.

#2 – Climbing Hill Sculpture

This Men Climbing Hill Sculpture caught my attention as soon as I spotted it. I’m not entirely sure what it is about it that drew me in. I like adventures – maybe it’s the adventurous vibe about this sculpture that I like. Or maybe it’s because the Mom in me is always trying to help my three boys achieve great things and overcome their obstacles. Or maybe it’s my three boys pulling me up, the way they are always helping me. I guess there are lots of ways to look at this sculpture – and every scenario I imagine that it represents seems to fit.

I think this sculpture would look fabulous on an office desk, placed on a windowsill in a living room, or even in a curio cabinet. What do you feel about this sculpture?

#3 – Soap Bubbler and Brush

I spotted this Bubble Up Soap Bubbler and Bamboo Brush Set this past week, and bought one for our kitchen. Oh. My. Goodness! I just might be way too excited about this!

Okay, what can I say. I have always loved bubbles. And this brush and soap set definitely makes bubbles! Just fill the ceramic dish with your favorite dish soap, add a tiny bit of water, then push the brush up and down on the spring activated platform inside the dish and you have bubbles to scrub with!

We’ve always used a scrub brush with a long handle in our kitchen sink, and that does work very well. But I have to say, there is just something very satisfying about making bubbles and then using the bamboo brush to pre-clean your dishes.  I know, I know. You’re not supposed to really pre-clean dishes before going into the dishwasher – but when our top-of-the-line dishwasher crapped out about a month ago, we had it replaced with what was supposed to be a very good, high quality dishwasher. It’s an epic fail, in my opinion. It simply does NOT get dishes clean on it’s own. Therefore, you have to pre-clean them. At this point, I’m probably just better off hand-washing all the dishes. Wait!?! Did I just really say that?!?!

You can find product links to all three things on Pinterest at Things I Like and you can find some of these things in my Amazon Marketplace Storefront.

NOTE: Since my job is an online store and mentoring ecommerce business owners, I spend a LOT of time online each day. While most of that time is spent working, I do occasionally stumble across websites, articles, and cool things that I really like. I save these things to a Pinterest board, so someday when I have some free time, I can go back to that board and enjoy the things I found. I enjoy sharing these fun finds with you, and hope you find them interesting, too!
