#1 – Outdoor Solar Chinese Lantern Set

I am so excited about these outdoor solar lanterns! I love the simple yet elegant look of Chinese lanterns, especially hanging from trees along our woodline. I’ve found other outdoor lanterns in the past, but they’ve all had a very bright white light that almost has a blue tint to it – not the comforting color I prefer for a lantern. I’ve been searching for outdoor solar lanterns for a while now that have a soft, warm white light – and found these! And… they’re actually so much more affordable than any other outdoor lanterns I’ve come across. I’m thrilled with this find!

I’m hanging three of these lanterns (I bought three sets of two) in a large tree that separates our front courtyard patio from our Butterfly Garden – they are going to look beautiful there! I’ll be hanging the other three in a tree right in the middle of our yard at the lake cabin, where they’ll remind me of my parents and one of my brothers.

Because these lanterns are solar, they do need to be placed somewhere where they will get sunlight for at least part of the day in order to recharge the solar panels. The light from these lanterns is a soft light, bright enough to know the lanterns are there, but not so bright that they illuminate the entire area – which is exactly what I wanted. The lanterns are made of a waterproof fabric, so they will last outside in the elements.

These lanterns could be hung in the eaves of a front entryway to welcome guests, or hung from a deck or railing for subtle mood lighting. If you don’t have a tree to hang them from, you could also use a shepherd hook and then place them in a garden for surprise lighting at night. Where would you use these lanterns?

#2 – Outdoor Wicker Chair Set

This pair of wicker chairs can be used in so many places! The clean, modern lines of these chairs make them work with any decor.

Use the chairs on your front porch for a place to relax at the end of the day. Use them on a deck or patio for entertaining or as a place to sneak away with your favorite beverage and book. You could even use these chairs indoors – at a dining room table, next to a bed, or even in a bathroom.

To add extra flair, add your favorite throw pillows or toss a throw blanket over the back. You could also make your own tassels and hang them on the chair for a custom look. Be creative!

#3 – Floral Teacup Planter

Add a pinch of colorful flowers to your porch or patio with this floral teacup planter!

This planter is 5-inches tall with a 7-inch diameter opening – much larger than a typical teacup. It also has drainage holes, so it’s perfect for a small potted plant. The saucer catches any excess water, protecting whatever surface you place this on.

This planter can be used indoors or outdoors. In addition to being a planter, you could also use this teacup to hold colorful candies or treats. Place it on an entryway table and use it to hold your keys and other pocket items. Set the teacup in a bathroom and use it to hold small soaps and other toiletries. You could also turn this teacup and saucer into a “gift basket” – just fill it with packets of seeds, a pair of gardening gloves, and a small pruner then wrap it in cellophane for a beautiful gift for a gardener. Makes a nice Mother’s Day gift, too.

NOTE: Since my job is an online store and mentoring ecommerce business owners, I spend a LOT of time online each day. While most of that time is spent working, I do occasionally stumble across websites, articles, and cool things that I really like. I save these things to a Pinterest board, so someday when I have some free time, I can go back to that board and enjoy the things I found. I enjoy sharing these fun finds with you, and hope you find them interesting, too!
