The leaves on our trees turned glorious colors one day, and the next day, the leaves were all falling to the ground – just like that. One fleeting moment in time. We’ve been experiencing warmer weather than normal this October, but that’s all about to change. Starting tomorrow, the high temperatures will just be in the 40s and overnight temperatures in the high 20s to low 30s. We’ve already had several mornings of frost. All the tropical plants that were on our patios have been brought inside the house. Only the annuals – which are still blooming and beautiful – and the mums remain on the patios. The mums are gorgeous right now, and I’m hoping they can hold on a little longer with these cooler temperatures that are coming. Crossing my fingers that we’ll still see more Summer-like weather before the snow flies.
