Martian Cocktail Recipe

Here’s your chance to see Mars at its closest point to Earth – just 38.6 million miles away.

If you look to the East at sunset, you’ll be able to see Mars – the red tinted bright star in the sky – you can’t miss it – it’s brighter than all the stars in the sky!

Mars will reach opposition on December 8th – its closest approach to Earth until the year 2033. At opposition, Mars is on the opposite side of Earth from the Sun – Mars, Earth, and the Sun form nearly a straight line in space.

This is sort of a rare event, so I thought I’d share a Mars-inspired cocktail with you.

If you have binoculars, a spotting scope, or a telescope, you’ll get an even better view!

Cheers to Mars!
