#1 – Krylon Stained Glass Translucent Spray Paint

Oh. My. Gosh! How come I’ve never heard of this paint before now?! The Krylon Stained Glass Translucent Spray Paint is awesome!

I have a bunch of glass votive holders that we keep out at our firepit. They are in full-sun pretty much every day of the year. Unfortunately, the sun has faded them considerably. I was trying to find a paint to use to revitalize them when I ran across this paint. I’m so glad I found this! The paint has completely transformed the glass votive holders and they are now even MORE vibrant than they were originally. I love how this paint goes on, and how bright and vibrant it is. I can’t wait to paint even more glass jars!

To add bright pops of color to your porch or patio, find clear glass vases, jars, bowls, or glasses at your local thrift store. Clean the glass well, then spray paint with these paints. You could create an ombre effect on a vase by using multiple colors of paint, or keep the vases all one color. Be creative!

#2 – Pink Flamingo Punch Needle Kit

This pink flamingo punch needle kit is so much fun! Not only does this kit include everything you need to create a work of art, it’s also a great way to learn how to use a needle punch.

I’ve been thinking about creating my own punch needle pillows for our backyard patio furniture. I thought it would be a cool way to customize that space. I’ve never used a punch needle before, so when I spotted this kit, I thought it would be a great way to learn – plus you end up with the needle that you can use for your own designs later.

This pink flamingo would add a bit of whimsy to a porch or patio this Summer. You could even turn it into a small tray for the patio – just find a round piece of glass (check your local thrift store) and place over the needlework. Add two glasses of fresh lemonade and you have a fun presentation tray!

#3 – Smiley Face Mug | Planter

This retro-style smiley face mug makes me smile! The classic yellow smiley reminds me of the smiley face pins that were so popular when I was a kid – I like that!

This oversize mug would be fun to use in the morning for a cup of your favorite coffee. You could also use it on the patio in the Summer to serve ice-cold lemonade – your guests are sure to smile!

If you prefer, you could use this mug as a planter for your favorite succulent or small houseplant. The mug would also make a nice catch-all on your work-from-home desk to brighten your day. Use the mug as a vase for your favorite fresh-cut flowers – white carnations and daisies would look right at home.  Lots of clever ways you could use this mug!

You can find product links to all three things on Pinterest at Things I Like and you can find some of these things in my Amazon Marketplace Storefront.

NOTE: Since my job is an online store and mentoring ecommerce business owners, I spend a LOT of time online each day. While most of that time is spent working, I do occasionally stumble across websites, articles, and cool things that I really like. I save these things to a Pinterest board, so someday when I have some free time, I can go back to that board and enjoy the things I found. I enjoy sharing these fun finds with you, and hope you find them interesting, too!
