The Best Places to Buy Indoor Houseplants Online – Part 2 (2021)

I buy a lot of plants. I seriously love plants. I seriously love affordable plants (that way, I can buy more plants)!

Because I live in a rural area, there are very few places to shop for plants near me. While I make the occasional trip to the Twin Cities, I buy most of my plants online. Yes. You can buy plants online.

One thing I especially love about buying plants online is that I can find the exact plant I’m looking for – versus going to a garden center and hoping they’ll have the plant I’m seeking.

I’ve had great success in buying plants online and wanted to share my favorite places with you – so you can enjoy buying online, too!

Here’s the list (in no particular order) – have fun shopping!

And… for even more favorite online shops – check out my “11 Best Places to Buy Indoor Plants Online – Part 1” article. I’ll add additional online plant shops in an upcoming “Part 3” – stay tuned!

Walmart (online)

Walmart stores have houseplants that you can buy in person, but – they also sell houseplants through their Walmart website! The houseplants are made available by Costa Farms, Just Add Ice, Wild Interiors, and Brussel’s Bonsai. They also offer free shipping on orders of $35 or more (in most cases). I’ve ordered quite a few houseplants by Costa Farms through the Walmart website and have been very happy with them.
