A Kitchen Gadget I Never Knew We Needed… Until Now – the Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 XL Air Fry Oven

My family and I recently purchased a Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 XL Air Fry Oven, and we’ve used it every day since we bought it. It is really amazing!

I had to share this fun find with you, along with some quick tips and additional resources.

Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 XL Air Fry Oven

We had never used an air fryer or a convection oven before in our house (I know, I know… we’re a little behind in the times), but several months ago, I had the opportunity to test an air fryer/convection oven combo and we were hooked! The unit I tested was the Fabuletta 10-in-1 Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo. I couldn’t believe how fast and efficient that unit was! My entire family was using it on a daily basis. The only downside for us was the size. We’re a family of five, so the size of the Fabuletta limited what we could cook in it at one time. We ended up bringing the Fabuletta to our lake cabin, and now use it there all the time. We still love that gadget.

After using the Fabuletta for a couple of months, I knew we needed to find something similar, but larger. I did a lot of research into air fryer/convection oven combos and ended up purchasing the Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 XL Air Fry Oven. Like the Fabuletta, we love it!

The Ninja 8-in-1 allows us to cook two things at one time. For example, burgers and french fries. Or a whole chicken and potatoes and vegetables. Or fish fillets and scallops. The list goes on. You can even bake desserts in the Ninja 8-in-1. We make toast and grilled cheese sandwiches in the Ninja, and we use it to toast bagels in the morning. We haven’t used our traditional toaster at all since we’ve gotten the Ninja. The Ninja can also bake two pizzas at the same time, and the pizzas come out perfectly. I love using the broil feature for meats and seafood, as well as the whole roast and air roast options. It is just so versatile! We’ve been using our Ninja now for a month and a half and I am still amazed how quick and easy it is to make a meal with it. The best part is that the Ninja heats up quicker (and uses less electricity) than a full-sized oven – which means we also aren’t needlessly heating up the kitchen with the Ninja like we were with the full-sized oven.

The Ninja sits on a small counter between our refrigerator and stove. It is fairly tall, but still fits underneath the overhead cabinets. And it’s only around 20″ wide, so there is still room on the counter beside it. I bought a black silicone mat to put on top of the Ninja Foodi so we can put the extra trays on that when we aren’t using them without scratching the stainless steel surface of the Ninja.

If you’re looking for a handy tool to save you time when cooking, I highly recommend the Ninja Foodi 8-in-1!

And…

As of the date of this article, the Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 XL Air Fry Oven is on sale for just $179.99 at Walmart (normally $199.99). Don’t miss out!

  1. This sounds like a very interesting product. I use an air-fryer, but this one sounds like it would do all that I would need. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I bought the Ninga 12n1 Rapid Cook and Convection Double oven but did not get the start up info or receipts so am afraid to start using it without some guidance. How can I get this information?
